* Murphy’s Law Review is the volunteer-run Peace Corps Turkmenistan publication. I’m on the editorial board with three other volunteers, two from the Anew Nine and one from the B-bat triad.
I’ve survived bad food, diarrhea, vomiting, having a good friend ET, having a controlling host mother, figuring out the language, getting a concussion, missing home, and tons of mishaps, misunderstands and missteps. This experience is funny in that it throws you in with a bunch of strangers that you would never befriend otherwise and then they end up being your best friends here. While there are people here that I will probably never talk to again once my time here is up, there are others that I hope always remain a part of my life.
